RBKB is a leading Korean domestic automotive motor and system supplier, which is also 100% Robert Bosch subsidiary since February 1998. The Bosch Group is a leading global supplier of technology and services. In the areas of automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods, and building technology, some 280,000 associates generated sales of 45.1 billion euros in fiscal 2008. The Bosch Group comprises Robert Bosch GmbH and its more than 300 subsidiaries and regional companies in over 60 countries.

RBKB was established in 1993 as a 50 :50 joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH and Mando Machinery Corporation and became a 100% Bosch subsidiary in 1998 as Bosch took over the remaining 50% shares of RBKB from Mando machinery corporation. The sales turnover of 2007 was around 320 billion won. With about 617 employees in Buyong plant of RBKB in Chungbuk province and in Technical Center in Yonginsi, RBKB has been producing 29 Mio  units of automotive motors per annum.
